The Alpharetta amphitheatre will be a terrific alternative to Chastain Park Amphitheater. Chastain is definitely a venue everyone should experience. I think it is more customer friendly, since it allows customers to bring food, beverages, picnic baskets and really make an evening of it. HOPEFULLY Alpharetta’s Encore Park Ampitheatre will quickly move to support this type of rare, family entertainment atmosphere.

I’m disappointed to learn that we won’t be able to picnic at this venue like we can at Chastain Park. In addition, I shouldn’t be too surprised to see that the concessions will be very expensive. It will definitely influence my decision on where to spend my entertainment dollars this season.

I have to say – after finding out that there is not food or drinks allowed I will not return but will go to Chastain instead. As a Vegetarian it is diffiult to patronize an establishment with concession only. If there were more offerings catering to other diets it would be different. I have sold my second set of tickets for Alpharetta and will make the drive into the city from now on.
