Homeowners have a March 1, 2008 deadline to file applications with Fulton Count for a Homestead Exemption. The requirement is that homeowners must have owned and occupied their home as their primary residence as of January 1st of the application year to qualify for any Homestead Exemption. The application must be filed with the Fulton County Tax Assessor’s Office.
